Regardless of what others think, I believe that if something feels right and it isn't hurting me or anybody else, why not enjoy it? I don't care if it's weird, I don't care if it makes no sense and I don't care how others perceive it. After all, it's the little things that make life so sweet, isn't it?
Here are a couple of quirky things I do that just plain old feel great, put a smile on my face or provide me with a sense of comfort. Comment below on some of the silly but feel-good things that you do too!
1. Sunglasses On My Head At Night
Even if it's 10:00 pm and I'm heading to the movie theater you'll still find me sporting my shades on my head. I mean, it's one thing if someone's been out all day and just happens to have them, but it's another thing to purposely put them on one's head when it's pitch black outside and they're only just leaving the house. I do the latter. Yep, it's weird! But they are the perfect tool for keeping my hair out of my face! See...justified!
2. Coffee At Nighttime
OK, I admit it. I am a coffee-a-holic. I just love the taste! And while everyone will say it's wrong, I'll still drink coffee late at night. Will it keep me awake? Nope! But interestingly enough, when I want coffee to wake me, it can! I think it's all in my head.

Yeah, I get a lot of slack for this one, but it feels marvelous! And hey, I'm not hurting anyone!
4. Putting It On The Checklist So I Can Cross It Right Off
Don't you just love the feeling of crossing something off your checklist? Well, I admit it...sometimes I put things on my checklist that I've already completed just so I can experience the satisfaction of putting that little line over top.
5. Eating Dinner With the Dessert Fork & Teaspoon
Hey, I like using smaller utensils! They're cute!
6. Showering, Then Taking A Bath Right After
I call it a "Shath" and it could be one of the reasons why my parents water bill dropped by over 50% when I moved out of their house. Whoops!
7.Standing In The Rain
Sometimes I just enjoy the feeling of standing in the rain. While St. Lucian's frown on it because it's believed to cause the common cold, I'll continue to do it. I've yet to get sick!

I have an extreme obsession with the Friends sitcom and I've watched every. single. episode. like a thousand times. I know that it's really quite ridiculous. And yet, I'll continue to put it on TV even when I'm not in the room simply because when I hear Chandler and Monica's voices in the background, I feel comforted.
9. Chewing Gum Just To Drink Water
Whenever I chew mint or cinnamon gum, I get thirsty and water just tastes better. So, if my water intake is down for the day, I grab a stick of sugar-free chewiness.
10. Wearing Nearly Knee-High Winter Boots In The Caribbean
'They' say you can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl. Well, in this case, they're right (whoever they are). I love wearing my boots. And what's interesting is that every single time that I wear them, I get compliments. Yippie!
So now that you know my weird things...what are yours? Come on, sometimes it feels awesome just to do something strange that makes no sense. Life's too short to take too seriously!
